Lily: A teenage girl, who after her city was destroyed by the bomb has become separated from her family. She finds herself in a hospital, and leaves to search for her brother, and parents. She discovers that they have died, but after exploring her devastated city, eventually is reunited with her brother.

Brother: The brother of Lily, who was evacuated from the city to a refugee camp. Desperate to find out if his sister is alive, he constantly checks the news and desperately wants to escape the camp to find her.
Played by Matt De.
Costume: dishevelled clothes

Parents: The parents of Lily and her brother, who are seen at the beginning of the film in Lily's hospital room. Later she discovers that they have died by unknown means, either the bomb or illness.
Played by Margaret Moores and Gavin Moores.

News Reporter: A journalist reporting from a news station outside of the affected city, serious, upset by the news of the attack on her country.

Thieves: A pair of desperate people who have decided to "make the best" of their circumstances and steal the food from abandoned shops.
Played by: Erin Moore and Ryan Muir
Costume: beanies, hoodies, dishevelled clothes

Volunteer: An aid/government worker who is taking care of the people in the refugee camp. She is tired, and also want to leave the camp. They have little supplies in the camp and she is starting to give up on her duties to keep the refugees "safe" and inside the camp grounds, it is this waver of strength that results in the refugees' escape.

Refugees: The citizens of the city, who have been evacuated to the camp. The conditions are not pleasant, the people are restless and eager to leave to seek out lost family, or simply to try to move on. They eventually rise up against the volunteers in the camp and escape into the streets.
